gardenmelt: My boss just told me about this - sadly I don’t think it would work for growing tomatoes (although to be fair, none of my strategies for growing tomatoes have really “worked”, per se, any fruit seems to happen by fluke rather than by design). It looks neat but I’m curious as to how long the plant would survive like that. Who knows, maybe for ages?

"Pergolas" and garden layout

So I’ve seen stuff like this around campus with vines climbing all over them and whatnot, but I never knew what they were called. Of course i assumed they were some kind of trellis, but i didn’t really research them until now… I googled “trellis archway” and one of the links spoon-fed me what i was looking for: They’re called “pergolas”...

A list of the goodies i’m trying to grow in my garden! tomatos snow peas sugar snap peas peas carrots okra (asian) eggplant basil cilantro green onions MANGOES PERSIMMONS long beans bell peppers cayenne peppers cucumber SUNFLOWERZ le mango seedling (roots n stuffs); it’s weird but i had to bust open the mango “seed” (more like husk-thang) to get to this...

"Confederate Jasmine"
